South Florida Calling! Answered:)

I am not the usual Florida wanderer. However, this year I have made many exceptions. I have decided that anytime I have an opportunity I would seek it out with only positive thoughts and gusto.

And so... I arrived in Fort Myers Beach with my best friend Vickie. Our annual road trip. I must say the road trip is often more adventurous than the stay. When two ladies enclosed for 21 hours with just our thoughts, music and traffic we can get pretty silly. We laughed for hours, often at our memories. Vickie is the, "we can drive straight through girl". I am the lets stop and get a comfortable, start in the morning. We stopped.

It was a fabulous journey. One that was so entertaining and full of "new beginnings" that I returned in April, May and June to Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero and Naples.

The warmth of the sun. The powdered soft white sand, sunrise and sunsets. The spontaneity that I sought, I found. I no longer think of Florida as"the last resort" trip. Open minded now and forward bound.
